How to set user email notification in Backup Exec 2010

I am wondering we can set email notification on Backup Exec 2010
we are using Exchange server 2003

Email Notification can be MAPI OR SMTP . The best way to find the information is the Admin guide  Search for setting up Notification ....
The 1st step would be to configure the method youwant to use to notify the recipient ie MAPI SMTP Pager and VIM
2nd step is to configure recipents.
3rd step is to assign the recipeints to the alert or jobs accordingly
