How to uninstall / reinstall Backup Exec 11d without losing jobs and catalogs

We have need to uninstall and re-install Backup Exec for Windows Server and want to make sure we don't lose all our catalogs, jobs, etc.  I found some articles refering to older versions, but nothing for 11d.  Those mentioned making a copy of the Data and Catalog folders and the pvl.mdb file.  However, I don't see a pvl.mdb file.  Is there a recommended procedure for doing this in 11d?

Yeah - the PVL.MDB went away with v9.1

Thanks for the quick response!

I made sure to read the "Do not use if..." section and one of the points was to not install if the Desktop and Laptop Option is installed.  It appears that we have this installed (at least I assume that's what DLO is), but we do not use it.

What happens if we follow this procedure in this case?  If the only problem is that our DLO settings will be lost, that's fine since we don't use it.

I've never used DLO, so can't say for sure, but if you don't use it, I don't see how it could hurt you to follow the TechNote
