Hp cleaning tape in IBM library with 2014 be

Any one has had experience with Hp cleaning tape in IBM library with 2014 be the library is 3753 driver ts 3100

Are you running in to an issue with the "cleaning" job ?

...a cleaning tape is a cleaning tape. It should work, but the vendor will recommend using their own (so IBM in this case)...

Yes I don't see why we have never used none IBM and just last week used hp for first time the tape came up as ? And it brought the library to a hault

Do you mean to say the IBM library stalled once you used a HP cleaning tape ? If that's the case, best to check with IBM if there are any issues using the HP cleaning tape or not.

In this case the HP cleaning tape was not faulty , just the ibm library not happy with the orange LTO 1-6 cleaning tape back to the ibm ultimate cleaning tape and issue is all resolved
