New vCenter server

Hi all,

i am using Backup Exec 2014.

I am about to change my vCenter server (totally new server, new name, new ip address)

I already have backup jobs and history from my old server.

Is there an easy way to transfer the jobs to the new vcenter server?

From the Backup & Restore tab, click on new job and choose create new job using existing settings.

Select the old job and then you can just edit the backup selections for the new job. The new job will retain other backup settings as per the old job.

Thanks, that means i have to create new jobs and have to modify the selections.

There isnt a migration from one to another?

That's right. The same can be achieved using powershell script as well (BEMCLI) if you prefer using the script, else the UI option to create a new job based on existing settings is the only way to go.
