Hyper-V Machines Server 2012 R2 not showing in BE 2010 R3 update 4

Jonha
Not applicable

Hello,

I am not able to see all my hyper-v machines on a Windows 2012 R2 Datacenter. The console only shows one or two (randomly) of ten virtual machines running in host.

I have another Windows Server 2012 (not R2) and the console shows all virtual machines.

The agent for Hyper-V is installed and updated.

Does BE support backup 2012 R2 Hyper-V?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

BE 2012 doesn't currently support Windows Server 2012 R2 in any flavour. You'd have to backup those VMs as physical servers via the RAWS agent.

BE 2014 (currently in Beta) will support Windows Server 2012 R2 when released.

Please see below.

Thanks!
