I can´t see all BE clients

Suddenly, i can´t see some BE clients.

I have a server named ANVSRV03 with the BE agent installed and doesn´t appear in the client list (this server is not the only one in this situation).

I´ve been re-installed the client but nothing occurs...8(

How can i force an scan from the BE server.

I use: BE2010 R3 with all fixes installed.

Hope BE & remote agents are completely patched & up-to-date...(Might be SSL handshake issue) ...Check if HF 180429 is applied or not...

Any recent changes to bring this about ? Are you able to add any these servers which do not appear as an user-defined selection ?

Hello. where can i see all the hotfixes installed?

From the BE gui, click on Help - About - Installed Updates

The only one that show me is "Service pack 2".

The other fixes doesn´t appear.

Either run LiveUpdate or download the HF from this link - http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH180429

After updating the server, update the remote agents as well....

I´m downloading the fix...

Tomorrow i´ll apply it and tell you the result...8)

I can´t apply it now because the backups jobs are already running.

...is your RAWS agent on that server started up? If not, do so and make sure it is publishing correctly to the media server.

Also make sure that there is no firewall blocking access to the media server (port 10000 must be opened if you want the firewall to continue running).

Craig,

Both points are OK.

The service is started and no firewall is blocking ports.

In fact, the backup jobs already created (before the problem) are working fine.

The problem is when i try to create a new backup/restore job...i cant see some agents.

...and you get the same result doing either a push-install or a remote install?

...can you run a ping of the IP address/name of the servers affected from the media server?

Does an nslookup resolve those servers from the media server? And vice versa from the affected servers?
