I dont See a DMZ Server on Backup Server

Hello togehter,

I have a Problem with Backup Exec 11d, I have install the RemoteAgent for Windows on a Windows 2K3 R2 SP2 Server but I can't see that server in the Severoverview the RemoteAgent runs and the Backupserver is recorded in the Agent Installation.

The Server i want to Backup is in the DMZ but the needed Ports (10000/dynamic Ports) in the Cisco Firewall and Windows Firewall are open.

On a other Server in the DMZ works anything fine. I can Backup this Server but the other not

I try to Connect me to the Server with telnet on the port 10000 and it works.

Can some body of you Help me? I will hope that some body can help me.

Stefan,

I was able to add the server manually to the selection list by using the "User-Defined Selections" at the bottom of the "View by Resource" panel in Selections.  You have the option to "Manage User-defined Selections".  Enter the server name.

At least it worked for me.
