Have a Windows 2012R2 Server with Backup Exec 2014. Have a new LTO5 IBM Tape Streamer that connects via Fibre-Chanel to the server. Windows Detects the drive but Backup Exec does not see the drive. What can I do to make it work. The drive did function under Backup Exec 2010 on a Windows 2003 Server.
What do I do, Where do I go?

First, do check the HCL to confirm the tape dtive and the connection method is supported or not - http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH214803
If BE 2014 is not updated with SP1, pls do so. ( You can check if SP1 is installed or not by viewing "Installed Updates")
Have a look @ the last few lines of the adamm.log (located under \Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\Logs)
Lastly, this KB will help as well - http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH24414

Thank you for the suggestion. Loaded the SP and it detected the drive. Strange, but anyway, should have tried it first.
