IP Less DAG Backup Consistency Check Failure

I'm running Backup Exec 15 SP3 trying to Backup an Exchange 2016 ip less DAG.  Every backup fails the consistency check.  I've tried every option (GRT on/off, Using the MSFT VSS writer, backing up from the active and passive server, unchecking the consistency check option, rebuilding the backup job, etc.  I have a hosts file on each Exchange server and on the BE server pointing to a member of the DAG.

I've had a support case open with Veritas for over a month now with no movement.  

Has anyone else either seen this error or been able to sucessfully backup an Exchange 2016 P Less DAG with BE 15?

Any help/advise would be apprecciated!

One note - I hvae ruled out any issues with the database -- Also I am able to backup the server and database sucessfully using Windows Server backup.  

This is what shows in the job logs:

The job failed with the following error: The consistency check of the snapshot for the Microsoft Exchange database has failed. You should check for possible data corruption in the Exchange Server that is online.
