Implementing Microsoft AD rollout after BE v10 has been installed

My company will be migrating to Microsoft’s AD here shortly. There has been discussion from different vendors about a patch that might be needed before implementing AD, or Veritas will not work properly after the migration. The current built of the software is 10.0 rev 5484 w/Sp1 on a 03 Server. Are there any known issues with this build before migrating to AD that need to be addressed.

There are no such known issues. You must not be renaming the server or do you?

Hello,

No there are no such known issues. However we would recommend you to install the version 5520 for 10.0 from the following link:

VERITAS Backup Exec (tm) 10.0 rev. 5520 for Windows Servers Installation Files
http://support.veritas.com/docs/277181

This is the latest release and it is always advisable to have it installed.
