Hello. I'm having a problem with bar codes. I'm using a Dell PV-124T on Small Business Server 2003 with BE 11d. I have tapes in all 8 slots in the magazine and all the barcodes are completely affixed to each tape in the correct position. The problem is that in Backup Exec, under Devices when I examine the slots, barcode values are only displayed for slots 1, 5 and 7. I've scanned, imported, inventoried, powered-down the device, restarted the server, applied all the hotfixes, disabled and re-enabled the device, but to no avail. Any insight into the issue would be much appreciated.
