Information Store and Exchange Mailboxes not appearing in User Defined sel

Hi,

We have migrated to a new Mail Server want to backup the Exchange Mailboxes and Public folder of the MAil Server.

My tape Device is laying on the front end Server which then connects to the backend server.
My problem is this that in the user defined selections, i can see the backend server, but i cant see Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes or Public Folders.
What do i need to install on the Target Server which is my Mail server in order for me to see this.

Do you have the Exchange Serial installed on the Media server? Is Excahnge Support Enabled (Tools/Options/Exchange)

Have you purchased and installed a RemoteAgent on the Exchange Server?

Do you have a MAPI client (Outlook or Eudora, etc) installed on the Media Server?

Hi,

I got all those things defined...
However i can see the Mail Server in the User Defined Settings. and can see the Drives etc etc with the databases .

I need to see the Exchange Mailboxes and Public folders under the Mail Server user defined settings...

Hopefully we can try step for step what could be wrong.
