Inserting new tape into running job

Is it possible to add a blank tape tape into a running job... My backup job ran out of tape space, 

and is waiting for extra media

please help

Yes ,Make sure Tape you are inserting is overwritable.

I just unwrapped a brand new tape, and inserted it into the media drive, no luck it cannot see the tape

You are out of luck here.  You need to insert a labeled tape and you cannot label a tape while the job is running.  Unfortunately, you would have to cancel your job, label this new tape and then re-run your job.

After inserting new tape Respond to alert "Please insert overwritable Media" with yes.

You can click on Active job to respond to alert.

S4all I tried this but then the job is on hold ? and I can't cancel the hold condition
