Installation schlägt immer wieder fehl

Hallo zusammen, wir haben folgende Konstellation: Server mit Windows 2003 SP2 und Bandlaufwerken, sowie ein weiterer Server W2K8 mit SQL 2007. Nun soll auf dem W2K3 Server das Backup Exec 2010 installiert werden. Die Datenbank auf dem W2K8. Doch leider schlägt die Installation immer fehl. Hi there,

Firstly I would suggest making a copy of your Data and Catalogs folders. You will need to stop your services first. I have had issues on 3 occasions where my SQL DB was corrupted during the upgrade process.
Secondly, look at installing SQL Express by itself first, followed by the BEWS upgrade. If need be, stop all your BEWS and SQL BKUPEXEC instance services before doing this. I have had this help me in the past.
