Installationsfehler BE 2010 R3

Hello,

ich habe einen BE 2010 R2 Backupserver (W2K8 R2) auf BE 2010 R3 upgraden wollen, was nicht gelang. Nach einer kompletten Deinstallation wollte ich die R3 neu aufsetzen. Die Installation scheitert allerdings:

Thanks for your help. Meanwhile i have managed to correct the bad registry key permissios with help from http://www.okino.com/conv/changing_windows_registry_permissions.htm

Hi Ralf,

 

Have you checked to make sure an antivirus isn't blocking access to the registry perhaps? I've personally seen McAfee block access to the registry during an upgrade, and even after upgrading, during normal backup runs.

If an AV isn't blocking the installation. run through the TN below. THis details how to completely remove BE 11D and above, and I'd also recommend running Microsoft's MSI Installer utility. You'd generally run this and select any remaining BE components.
