Installing BE 9.1 Agent on Win Server 2008 error

Hi all,

I need to install the windows agent for backupexec 9.1 on a Windows Server 2008.

The problem is that when I try to "start backupexec installation" i get "unable to install microsoft windows installer sevice". I checked and the msi service is running on the server.

On an older post I found a suggestion to run msiexec /regserver but that did not help.

Any ideas?

BE 9.1 not supported on Win Server 2008.

To use ws 2008 please use BE 2010 for full functionality
