Installing agent on snap server?

I'm following instructions for installing the unix agent on my snap server.  When I execute the ./INSTALL command in PuTTY I get this reply:

Backup Exec UNIX Agent Install v3.7
Copyright 2001 VERITAS Software Corporation.  All Rights Reserved.

english/SETUP must be run as root equivalent.

No clue what this means, anyone help?

You have to use your root account.  After your initial login, su and type in root password, then attempt the install again.
