Inventory Failed / Bad link to Veritas site

Hi,

Everytime we insert a new cartridge into our Robotic Tape Loader ... BE 9.1 says that it failed and then refers me to this web address for more details

Final error category: Backup Device ErrorsCompleted status: Failed

The problem is that link is invalid.

I've found when I do a manual Inventory, we get no failure message.

Please advise.

Kindly check out the event ID's if they are generated due to Bad inventory and the job that fails. Please let us know what's Event ID's are generated as a result of job failure.

We would also suggest you please refer the following.

Uninstall the existing device drivers and reinstall the latest Veritas drivers. Run tapeinst.exe to install Veritas driver.
"TAPEINST.EXE" is located in the directory x:\Program Files\VERITAS\Backup Exec\NT (TAPEINST.EXE" is an automated installation application for installing tape device drivers )
