Hi...
We've recently installed Backupexec 11d and have been running into a few snags getting our jobs running...We've gone from tape to B2D and copied most of the jobs from the old install to the new install. One of the errors we are seeing is "
e0008522 - The required module VSAPAPI.dll cannot be found. The Advanced Open File Option (AOFO) may not be properly installed. Reinstall this option, restart the computer, and then run the job again." I've already uninstalled the AOFO option on the server however the job continues to fail with this error... Also, from time to time, the B2D devices, show a status of 'in use' and no jobs are running... Could you give some insight on this?
Additionally, another error "e00084f2 - An attempt to write data past the end of the media has failed" and everything in the forum and knowledge base references corruption on tape or disk and recommends disk fragmentation or chkdsk. This is a newly installed disk array with new drives... Any other suggestions on why we'd be seeing this error?
