Job for Restore fails and Service stops on agent.

Hello every one I have a Back up exec 2012 running on windows server 2008 R2,

And an agent running on Windows Server 2003 

My storage is directly attached to agent using USB

back up jobs  are runnig fine but when I try to restore the same job on same drive it fails

I am attaching event viewer snapshot of when job fails along with

error report.

please help.

Hi,

Check to see if your AV isn't perhaps scanning the beremote.exe service on the affected server. If it is, then put in an exclusion for it.

You should also make sure that both the media server and remote server are fully patched.

What is the data you are trying to restore??

Try to just restore one file / folder and then see if it works.

AVs can play havok in some pretty unimagineable way. Glad you sorted it out!
