Job timeout

I have a job that runs nightly at 11:55. How do I set it so that if there's no tape present, it will timeout (in, say, 10  minutes) and cancel the job instead of waiting forever for a tape to be inserted? TIA - JR

One way to do it would be to set up the alert category response.

Go to Tools - Alert Categories

Select Media Insert

Check the box for Automatically clear alert after.

Set the time for 10 minutes

Set respond with to Cancel
