Hello.
We havn't been doing any changes in BE jobs properties but still have faced a problem - jobs don't run in selected time window and when the time for them to start have passed there is an warning message.
Example:

job properties;

5.2.png

schedule:

5.1.png

errors:

5.3.png

history:

5.5.png

warning message:

5.4.png

What can be the matter?

As per screenshot#3 your media server is in paused state. Go to Devices tab, right click on the

server name and select unpause. Also make sure you have installed all the latest updated of BE.

Hi rsh4400,

Make sure all the alerts have been responded to

and the Backup Exec services are not stopped

Also check the availability window of the selection list the job is using as if this window is in conflict with your job start time range then it will not run.

BE 2012 and BE 2014 not longer have this concept of in effect two availabilitity windows. BE 2010 R3 and earlier did have this conflict possibility

How do you come to this conclusion?  I don't see the media server anywhere in the screenshot.

You should also check for resource contention.  If two jobs either backup from the same resource or backup to the same device, then one of the jobs need to wait for the other to finish before it can start.

In the 1st pane of Job Monitor what do you see under Job status?

I see the status as Server Pa..... (Server Paused)

Refer to the screenshots from below article.

Indeed, media server was in paused state. It seems like it happened after we got some failures in a power supply. Thanks to everyone.
