KUnable to restore SQL database

Ihave backed up the sql database and now iam trying to restore that and its not allowing me to restore. It is giving following error:

Restore 00126 -- The job failed with the following error: Database Query Failure. See the job log for details.

Iam sure there must be some access permissions issue. Can anybody help me out?

Hi Asim,

Which SQL databases you are restoring?

Do you get any Virtual Acess Denied error in the job log?

Please verify that the server name and the drive are the same as they were at the time of backup.

Try following steps:

1. Open SQL Enterprise Manager.
2. Select the Database whose restore has to be performed.
3. Right Click the database and select the properties.
4. On the database's properties window, go to the options tab and select Restrict Access to Single User Mode .
5. Close the SQL Enterprise Manager.
6. Perform the restore operation.
7. Make sure that Replace database and filegroups needs to be checked.

Do revert back with details.
