License considerations re upgrade of Backup Exec 10.0 Rev 5484 to 10.d or 11.d?

Hi all,

I'm wanting to find some confirmation that the upgrade to 10.d is in fact 'free'.

Does it apply to 11.d?

The client site I'm looking after has Backup Exec 10.0 Rev 5484 installed, and after the Windows Server 2003 SP2 update I'm also getting errors as per the posts above.

The update is free.   I spoke with a Symantec tech in regards to that a couple days ago, and he gave me this link to the download: http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/279332.htm

He also gave me the links to the current Service pack for 10D:   http://support.veritas.com/docs/287295

The update to 10D is free..   I beleive there is a charge to upgrade from 10 to the 11 or 11d.  (He actually said he finds 10D to work better then 11d in most cases anyway)
