It is on the installation media of Backup Exec.

On the DVD of BE2010R2 there is a folder LinuxUnixMac.

After you install the RALUS, you should check the Agents directory under the BE installation directory to see whether there are any RALUS patches and apply them to the agent.  You should repeat this check each time you apply hotfixes.

Can you please confirm the SUSE linux version also this is the link you can follow to install remote agent on linux system

Also if you have backupexec installed like BE 2010 r2 sp1 for example then please go to c-program files-symantec-backupexec--agents -were you will agent for linux unix max zip file please copy that on linux box & follow the link

Please verify the link below for s/w comptability for version 12.5 for backupexec in that it gives the list of version compatible with backupexec so please go through it & install procedure would be same as provided by me in the link above so if it is compatible please follow the post below for installation instructions

Hi

I would be glad to help you if you can give me some background of what exactly is going on 

 

1 Please let me know your SUSE version with updates like 10.2 or 10.4 & also backupexec version with updates like BE 12.0 sp5 or BE 12.5 sp4

2 Also what is the file system for suse is that ext3 or ext4

3 Can you please debug the remote agent on linux server by following this document so that I can help you to resolve this
