Hi everybody!
I'm trying to create a new backup job on my physical server running Microsoft Server 2008 with Hyper-V and two virtaul machines on it.
I testet the identification data of all backupable parts. Everything passed the tests.
But if I want to selct something in my virtual machines by open the node before the name of the virtual machine I get an error:
In German: "Fehler beim Durchsuchen. Backupexec konnte eine vorhandene VHD nicht öffnen, da die VHD möglicherwiese beschädigt ist oder sie sich nicht als Adminstrator eingeloggt haben."
This means, the VHD may be damged or I am not logged in as an Adminstrator.
I don't believe that the VHD is damaged, because the server is running fine. And the logon-Informationen are tested before.
What is wrong?
Greetings
Michael

Oh, yes! I remember! I asked that before:
https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/need-hint-solution-v-79-57344-34041
So I summerize: Backupexec will not work for me with ServicePack 2 and it will not work without ServicePack 2.
I think the best way is changing to a better product from an other vendor. Can anybody tell me, how to get my money back?
Greetings
Michael
