I no longer have the original password used when BU exec was installed. I changed the user password in Active Directory, changed the services, however, the back up jobs fail authentication.

I reviewed support document #267170, which documents a fix, however, since I do not have the original password, I can not change the password to a new one.

How do I resolve this problem.

You could try to remove the default backup account from the 'Logon Account Management' and enter a new one. Or designate a different account as default logon account.
