How do I restore the master db with BUE 11d?  I'm trying to restore the master from a server to a new dev server.

You can not redirect the restore of the master database to other server.

Thanks for the information. I was able to get a successful restore of the master after checking the database option and changing the name to masterservername. Although I don't know if the DBA has been successful using that file on the developement server.
