Media Overwrite/Append Periods

I want to do the following with backup to disk, and wanted to verify my thoughts are correct on the Media Set Overwrite and Append periods, and the backup options.

I want to do have 2 weeks of backup at a time, then the 3rd week would overwrite the first week.  Here is how each week would work:

WEEK1 (Each job

Full (Reset archive bit, Overwrite Media)  = Mon, Wed, Fri

Incremental (Reset archive bit, Overwrite media)  = Tue, Thur, Sat, Sun

WEEK2

Full (Reset archive bit, Overwrite Media)  = Mon, Wed, Fri

Incremental (Reset archive bit, Overwrite media)  = Tue, Thur, Sat, Sun

WEEK3 (OverwritesWEEK1)

Full (Reset archive bit, Overwrite Media)  = Mon, Wed, Fri

Incremental (Reset archive bit, Overwrite media)  = Tue, Thur, Sat, Sun

I'm a bit unsure about how to handle the media set.  I think it would look something like this:

Overwrite = 13 days

Append = 0 days

If that is incorrect, or there is a better way to handle this, let me know.

13 Day opp should be what you want

as long as you never run any Append jobs, doesn't really matter what the APP is, but APP of 0 days would force a new BKF every night in any case
