Is Outlook 2010 (32-bit or 64-bit) not supported for the Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Archiving Option?
I have Outlook 2010 installed in the BE media server, but the installation will not accept to install the Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Archiving Option, because Outlook is missing.

According to this PDF you need Outlook 2007 on the Media Server:

Thanks for a quick reply. :)
Well, then it makes sence, because I see now that Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Archiving Option does not support Exchange server 2010 yet neither.
I just thought that the 2010 R2 release included support for Exchange 2010 - also in all agents and options, but I thought wrong then...

I'm not sure if there is a next version of the Backup Exec Exchange Archiving option planned, but the next version probably will support Exchange 2010 as it is a 'small' version of Enterprise Vault, and Enterprise Vault supports Exchange 2010 SP1 since version 9.0.
