Microsoft SBS 2011 & Backup Exec SBS 2010

SBS 2011 from Microsoft ships since January

Works backup exec 2010 SBS R2 with Microsoft SBS 2011

And if not when will it be supported?

Next built of BE2010 will be out in April but not sure if that will support SBS 2011

For existing version like BE 2010 or BE 2010 r2 it is not supported but as said by Amol it might be supported in next build

I just installed the RTM SBS 2011 Standard and Backup Exec 2010 R2 SP1 in a clean VM and ran a few tests. It even accepts the existing SBS serial number and sets up the proper agents.

From what I can see there is nothing needed in the current build to make it work with SBS 2011, it works as is.

Anyone else test this?

When you use an unsupported configuration,  if it works, you are lucky.  If it don't, then you are on your own.  You would be unable to open a support case with Symantec.
