My incremental backup does full backup symantec be12.5

I have a symantec incremental backup job which has started to do a full backup on one of the servers.

All the other servers in the job do incremental except my file server which does a full backup

I have symantec backup 12.5 any reason why ?

What is the destination device(tape or disk)

What method you are using for the backup( Archive bit or Modified time)

Any changes made to the FPS lately?

At one time some AV products would alter the modifed time as well as the access time during an scan.  To see if this may be happening try temporarily halting the nightly full scan if you do one.

I have tried both time and archive bit

both did full backup

the destination is tape

the scan is done weekly so unlikely to be the problem
