The NAS server runnign backup exec 9.1 on it, hangs almost everyday.
The SYSTEM error that i get is as below,
Event ID: 10010
Descrip: The server did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

The APPLICATION error i get is as follows:
Source: MSSQL$BKUPEXEC
Event ID:17052
Description: Eror 17803, Severirty:20, State: 17 Insufficient memory.
Please advice on what could be wrong. Does this have anything to do with IDR???

P4 2.4 GHz, 512 MB RAM.

There are several causes for this error and they depends on what component is reported. It basically means that the server component was launched but there was no reply from the server. The application may be configured incorrectly.

In some cases, this problem has been resolved by disabling Removable Storage Management (RSM) service. Refer to the following technote to perform the same:

We hope this will help.
