Need Help Getting Started

Hi all...

I have just installed a fresh instance of W2008 X64, and installed Backup Exec 12.5 trial version to try out the new VVIA.  The server is connected to the SAN via a fiber cable.

I have made a virtual disk (200 GB) which is connect to the SAN, so I know the connection is good.

So, when I start Backup exec, I am able to backup machines with the agents installed.

From here, I don't know which direction to go.  What other configuration do I need to perform?  How do I know if it can see the SAN?

When I manually put a server name under  "VMWare VirtualCenter and ESX server" and click on it, all I get is "Timed out.".

Any hints on where to go from here?

It is also worth mentioned that I do the get the error listed here:
