Hi all,

I am in desperate need in fix this problem

I have a copy of backup exec 10 which I installed on a windows 2000 Pro machine

For some unknown reason it has completed stopped working after I upgraded to 10d
I am now trying to reinstall the package and it failing to install when running set program

How can I completely erase the product all it registry entries so I can install a fresh copy then re apply the upgrade .

Any help would be much appreciated, as I have not backed up for over 3 weeks

Hello,

What error does it give you when you try to install version 10d? You could check the bkupinst file which can be found in WINNT.

In case you want to uninstall, you can do so from add/remove programmes, however after the reinstall, you will need to recrete all the jobs.
