Need to re-inatll RAWS after installing v10 SP1??

Hello,

I've just upgraded our Veritas media server from v9.1 to v10.0 (build 5520) and have also installed RAWS on all other networked servers (both Windows 2003 & 2000).

I'm now wanting to upgrade the media server to v10 SP1. Does that mean I need to upgrade all the RAWS servers again meaning two reboots?

All I need to know is if after upgrading the media server to v10 SP1 if I then need to uninstall the Remote Agents on the other servers which were installed as version 10 from the CD and then push re-install from the media server?

Hello Michael,

In the first post here you have said that you have upgraded from 9.1to V10.0 5520. So naturally you are planning to install the SP1 from V10.0 5520. Here is the link for the same:
http://support.veritas.com/docs/278701.
This states that the remote agent needs to be reinstalled on the remote servers after the installation of SP1.

The link suggested to you earlier by Steve is for V10.0 5484 and hence does not apply to you!!
