Hi,

There is no way to prevent the job from failing if any of the target machines is down.

The only workaround is to do a "test run" before the actual job runs so that the job selections can be edited accordingly..

Test run is ok......but if 1 of the target pc is goes down in the night when backup is scheduled (I shall not be around to check that)...then veritas must skip that pc & proceed to next target pc...right!!....that;s not happening

Hello,

Here test run is the only option that can be used.

When you run the test run then please check the option credentials check where if the remote server is offline it will give a credential error related to the particular server.

When running the actual job you can then exclude the server.

Thanks,
