When we upgraded the backup sub-system (Backup Exec) of to version 10 we also started to convert the client machines from NetBackup to the desktop and laptop option within this new version. For the first 6 or 7 users we simply downloaded the client software from the server and all worked well. However, on subsequent clients the software would download but not actually perform a backup operation. The new clients would be listed in the Users section and classified as Enabled, and they would also be in the Computers list on the server. However, on the client machine the DLO Agent would be classified as Disabled and we could not enable it
