I just setup Backup Exec 12.5 on a new server and started working with the VMWare Agent and I have a couple of questions:
1) I am using the BE server as my temp staging server so does it use the temp directory defined in the default options?
2) When I do the backup do I need to back it up in the section where it shows VMWare Virtual center and Esx Servers or do I select under the Window Systems. The reason I ask is I am also using the SQL Server agent and we have SQL server running on vms that I need to back up and I noticed when I test the restore using the Granual Restore Technology it does not have a section for the SQL server on the machine I defined. (I guess I was thinking I would need to select the SQL database under the Windows servers and the entire VM in the VMWare section in the selection window)
3) Also how much temp space does it use on the VCB proxy to do the backup? The size of the entire VM?
