If I want to use one of my BE tape drives for a non-BE purpose (i.e. read a data tape), do I need to use a non-Veritas driver or am I OK as is (using Veritas driver)?
Please provide instructions for reading a data tape from a tape drive normally used by the media server for BE tasks. Thanks.
In this case you can use OEM (Original equipement manufacturers drivers).
