Hi.
Were running Veritas BackupExec 10.0 here fyi.

Anyway, for the past 3 days, its been failing to backup, and, it wont let me add our new SQL2005 database to the main job.

The error it comes up with appears after 11mins each time, after its hit 99%:

AOFO: Started for resource: "Shadow?Copy?Components". Advanced Open File Option used: Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS),
The following volumes are dependant on resource "C:"

Any ideas?
Could it be because SQL2005 isnt compatible with 10.0 (3 days ago we installed SQL2005 for another app).

Am i correct in thinking that this 10.0-10.1 patch that ive downloaded is a free upgrade as well, as ive heard that 10.1 is more compatible with SQL2005?

Thanks in advance all.

Yes, v10d is a free upgrade from v10.0

and yes, 10d does support MSSQL2005
