Running BE 10D backing up Outlook PST files using the AOFO.
Other open files appear to backup without error, but open Outlook .pst files verify as corrupt 95% of the time with:

WARNING: "<filename>.pst" is a corrupt file.
This file cannot verify.

Hi There

I am just wondering has there ever been an answer to this question, I have AOFO installed and I am still getting that PST files that users have stored on their network folders are appearing as corrupt, there seems to be a lot of threads about this but no answers?

No replies that I have seen or read.

I came from running version 8.x with AOFO and didn't have any problems backing up PST files.  That was one of the big reasons for buying the AOFO option.

I am wondering if the problem rests with the snapshot method used.  I was having no luck with having it automatically select with method, but since selecting the Symantec snapshot, I have had a few cases where it backed up the PST files properly.  I am wondering if it is the network conditions that is the critical factor, if there are conditions that prevent a good snapshot being taken, that is preventing the PST files from being backed up while in use.
