Oracle Agent on Backup Exec 11d

Hi,

I am having problems with the Oracle agent on 11d.  I have configured my Oracle server with the following.

1. Created an Oracle user (bkexec) with DBA privileges.

2. Created the same user (bkexec) in Windows and added the account to Admin and DBA group.

3. Configured the Remote agent to include the user "sys" in the Oracle tab and included user "bkexec" in the Database Access tab.

I can see my tablespaces in Backup Exec, but when I execute a job, I get the following error.

e0001005 - Backup Exec encountered an unexpected error.

Can someone please help ASAP?

Is this happening all the time?  Can you tell me if in the RMAN output file you are getting the following error "ORA-19506: failed to create sequential file"?  IF no, what error are you seen there if any?

Hi,

We are seeing the EVENT 34113 with the "ORA-19506: failed to create sequential file, name, Name" error consistently.  Has there been any remediation of this error?

Backup Exec v11d 7170 executing a remote backup (Windows 2003 SP2).
