'Original Start Time' Differs from 'Job Started' in the Job History

I've never noticed this before, but why does the 'Original Start Time' a day or more earlier than the 'Job Started' on the job histories? I don't know if my recent upgrade from 10 to 10d caused something to go wrong in the database or not.

Here is an example from one of my overnight jobs last night:

Original start time : Thursday, August 03, 2006 4:00:00 AM
Job started : Friday, August 04, 2006 4:00:04 AM
Job ended : Friday, August 04, 2006 11:59:52 AM
Elapsed time : 07:59:48

Even though this is a backup from last night (beginning at 4am this morning), it appears that it was originally scheduled to run night before last (8/3) but did not. The maximum run time of the job is 10 hours, and the time window is 4am until 8:59am.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi,

Was the required media available at the time the job was supposed to start?

Is Advanced Open File Option enabled for this backup?

If yes, make sure that the "enable single volume snap" is enabled for the job.

Please refer to:
