Overwrite Automatically

Hi!

We need BE 2012 to start overwriting on Tapes even if they are full without giving us message for "Library Insert".

Any Suggestions?

Hi

Normaly this says all media in your Library is wirte protected through Backup Exec.

I think your periods for overwrite protection are to long for your backup strategy and/or your number of tapes in your library.

If you post a screenshot of your Library inventory and your Backup job it will help to find a suggestion.

If you want to make the tapes immediately overwritable, then associate them with the scratch media set
