Physical Volume Library not found Backup Exec 2010 R3

When attempting to restore a VM directly to our ESX 4.1 server through Backup Exec, I am receiving the following messages in the Jog Log....

Media mount failed.
Physical Volume Library Media not found.

I've received this same message in 2010 and in the R2 release as well. Has anyone come across this issue before? The Jog Log has been attached for review as well. I can provide more details of my environment if needed.

Thanks in advance!

Are you trying to restore from the same media server that did the backup?

When I posted in this forum I was not trying to restore to the same media server that did the backup. But I did inventory the drive and catalog all files as suggested by the link you provided on the other media server. Could it be throwing this error because maybe one or two .bkf files were cataloged with the incorrect password?

After researching more and taking some advice from the above links you provided, I was able to get an entire VM to restore through Backup Exec on a completely different Media Server. Come to find out, it was a combination of the catalog issue that is mentioned in the links you mention along with an ISO drive being mounted to that particular VM.

Thank you for your advice! It was greatly appreciated!
