Possible to do backups across domains over a WAN

We are using Server 2003 on all our servers. We have multiple servers and want the servers to backup their data to our data centre. Each server is on it's own domain, but none of the domains are connected. Is there anyway for our satelite servers to backup to one server over tcp\ip, or do they have to be in the same domain.

Before you get to the issue of permissions have you considered how much data needs to be transferred over the WAN link? Depending on the size of the pipe, and it had better be a BIG pipe, will probably make backups impractical.

As Edwin says, the amount of bandwidth will determine whether this is feasible in real life or not.
However, you can backup between domains if a domain trust exists between the two domains. I assume you could also backup without the trust if you specified the account to use manually too.

Not to worried about bandwidth, already doing online backups with another program, but we wanted to go with veritas. But we cannot seem to link our remote server with our main backup server via tcp\ip. Tried different things. It sounds like their is a way, but cannot find the documentation on how to do it.

unc is no good, needs to be tcp\ip. Any ideas.

Do you have all the correct ports open on any intervening firewalls/routers
