Do you mean linux or os/2 extended attributes? I don't think BE 9.1 supports either.

BE 9.1 does support selecting files based on last access time, though.

Hmm........

I don't know........ NTFS Extendend Attributes.

I need to know whether I can use Backup Exec to backup "Media" from DiskXtender (a Data Lifecycle manager that can move/copy/purge files and folders from one type of media to another based all sorts of attributes such as when the file was last written to/read/accessed/date/what ever. It has something to do with a stub file left on the server from where the file is moved and that stub contains the new place of the file or something like that.)

I don't whether this made anything clearer............

Kind Regards

Hello,

Backup Exec does not support Extended Attributes. Following technote explains which type of technology is used by Backup Exec to backup data:

Backup Exec 9.x and 10.0 for Windows Servers uses Microsoft Tape Format (MTF) Technology for data backup.
