PowerShell Event Viewer log full

It appears that when backup exec performs a backup of Exchange 2007, the PowerShell event viewer log becomes full and I have to clear it up.

We are able to successfully backup Exchange 2007.  We are even able to restore  individual mail message and folders from the Information Store backups.

How do we stop the PowerShell log on the Exchange Server from getting full after each backup?

Thanks!
