Powervault 110T LTO 2-L Drive not working

I can not get my new powervault drive to work with backup exec.

Dell PowerEdge 2600
Windows 2003 Server standard
Adaptec SCSI 2916 card
Powervault 110 T LTO2-L drive
Veritas 9.0 rev 4454

The drive is seen as - Certance Ultrium 2

I installed - Be4454RSP1_267151.exe,BE4454RHF2_267153.exe,BackupExecTapeDeviceDriverInstall_265139.exe.

I thought the drive was working. I actually was able to backup on one tape on Friday. Now on Monday, if I use a new tape I get an error - a000821e - incompatible storage media detected. And I am unable to use any tape.

The first thing I'd try is the free upgrade to v9.1
